Yurak Travertine with Indian Autumn 2x4 Slate and the SOD6941 Carver Bathtub

This is such a simple design concept that applies to so many products and the outcome is gorgeous. Here you see 2x4 slate tile used on the left and right sides of each 12x12 travertine. Then they decided to use a split brick pattern for the 12x12's - making the 2x4 slate the center line to work off. The dramatic effect this has on enlongating the space is beautiful. The visual interest added to this floor by using the colorful slate tile as the accent was the perfect compliment to the more subtle travertine tiles.

The addition of the oval bathtub in the corner was a great compliment to the arched entrance to the shower. By using the 12x12 slate that matches the 2x4 for the top of the tub deck and countertops a consistentant theme of materials makes this bathroom look like that of a spa resort you would pay big bucks to enjoy for the weekend.

Walnut Hardwood with Travertine Inlay

This design concept is a classic inlay option with an awesome mixture of hardwood and travertine. Pictures simply can not show the beauty of this floor. While experienced floor installation skills are certainly required to pull this off there is not a better mix of natural materials that what is shown here with the plank walnut hardwood flooring and our 18x18 Yurak honed & filled travertine. Volcano and Picasso Chiseled Travertine Pinwheel Pattern

This design idea is a simple yet effective way to not only bring more color to your space, but also make the space look larger by not laying your tiles in the normal grid layout. The pattern seen below is commonly referred to as the "Pinwheel Pattern". It simply develops by taking a larger tile and rotating it around each side of the smaller tile, in this case we've used 8x8 Volcano & 16x16 Picasso. The rotation of larger tiles around the smaller tile creates a pinwheel look that has the illusion of being a very difficult and custom tile installation method.

You'll also notice a great way to make your staircases look super high end by using tile as the riser poriton of each stair. It's such a custom design element that really is simple to pull off, regardless of how many steps you have. Yet another way for you to create a one of a kind look for a normally boring and predictable space in your home.

These photos are from a recent Parade of Homes model that I had the privlege of attending. The builder that we worked with on this project absolutely understood our design capabilities and put his good name in our hands. Not only did this home win Best In Show for this particular parade, but it also allowed us to show an awesome design combination with two of our best selling tile products.
